Rooms not cleaned and bath towels old and overused. AC not cooling, USB ports not working (some), wardrobe doors not functioning

Dinner at J W. Kitchen For dinner on the 31st of December evening, I made a request for a table, but never got a confirmation. It was the personal intervention of Sadia at the time of check in that I got confirmation.

They should arrange more sitting arrangement in the lobby. Because guests do not get space to sit

Food is delicious and shiny during morning breakfast. Because the soffa seats in the dinning hall are dangerous.... Please fix it fast so that there are no more accidents....

We liked the room decorations for my birthday, and the birthday cake provided. The spa tub was the highlight and the beds were comfortable too. We had a great view of the ITC Royal Bengal and the room was nice and clean on a high floor (20th). The connecting rooms were also especially helpful to help ensure we had a convenient, safe and pleasant stay. We enjoyed the twin beds as well as the king bed rooms, and the room service was very well packaged and delivered hot and fresh to the rooms, in ample quantity. The check-in staff were friendly, especially Ankita, who arranged for all the decorations and cake. Really happy to celebrate my 41st birthday here!

The checkout time was very long. Also, I was informed that the prior request for a late check in and check out request will be chargeable, which has never happened before, especially since I'm travelling with a young child. We did not like the behaviour of the housekeeping staff, who were reluctant and sluggish in their behaviour. The check-in staff also doubled up as the concierge that showed guests to their rooms, which created a major delay in checking out since no staff was present to help us checkout for quite a while. The night time room service left a lot to be desired because the food was dry and hard. The menu is also overpriced, and having to pay on the spot was also inconvenient and an embarrassment for my friends, who thought the hotel staff didn't trust us enough to pay during checkout! The breakfast bakery items have really been cut down since the last time I stayed there, which was a major disappointment since I was expecting the usual spread like there used to be before!

Right from check in we were very happy with the exceptional hospitality, special mention to Afreen who help us check in. All the staff was always smiling and very helpful ! Keep up the good work

I liked the location and the room.

I did not like the breakfast that much. I guess my expectation was much higher since it is Marriott and it is expensive. I also found that the hotel staffs were not like any other 5 star hotel. No one came to help to take my baggage which was quiet surprising for me. To be honest, I did not found the worth of money. It was quiet okay. I might prefer some other hotel next time.

Poor hospitality from the check-in staffs

I had a bad experience during early check-in. The room was not ready when we arrived and it took almost an hour for them to get it ready which I understood. But while waiting in the lobby with a kid and an infant, no hotel staff cared to even offer a glass of water to ask if we needed anything. At the same time, they were busy offering drinks and other things to another large group who also arrived for early check-in. It seemed like the hotel staffs favored the larger groups who were paying lot more than a single family like us who paid the same nightly price but for a shorter stay. Very disappointing and does not reflect the brand value of Marriott.

I had a good experience a few years ago and went back due to the area it's located in.

This time there was complete miscommunication and they tried over charging and when I enquired they went back and forth and suggested I move rooms at 2 am with my kids who were asleep, if I wanted them to charge me a regular room rate despite their mistake in not allotting me one in the first place. Then they said the airport pick up was included in my brother's room. Next day they lied again and said it was not included in his room. I settled the total cost since I was checking out. But they again harassed my brother about the one way airport check up when he was checking out.

Fantastic hotel. The rooms were big, the bathroom were much bigger. Very grand interior. The breakfast buffet was huge with an excellent choice of breads and cakes
